Funny enough there were no changes to these drivers that caused this issue. Same in safemode except it gets through loading drivers to crc check then goes to black screen and then the cursor freezes. Is my computer just fried? It is as if Vista is seeing if your machine exactly matches the last configuration and if it doesn't, it will not boot. Luckily I always log on as a user so despite losing everything I was able at least to log on as administrator but then it started to freeze every day and I've rebooted with safe mode and everything.
More often than not, after I leave the BIOS screen it usually just goes to a black screen with a flashing cursor.
