I wish someone could explain to me how stepping through code in the VS 2008 debugger could systemmatically produce a BSOD. Best solution would be to completely uninstall ESET, perhaps even using a manufacturer provided removal tool to completely scrub it out and then reinstall. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode. The crash happens really randomly and at the moment has only happened when the system hasn't had much load. I have bioled it down to software error via driver that loads into the Netio.sys file and dumps improperly into memory causing the BSOD.
