but i found this post and to know parts have been replaced i know they are wrong. And, pulling a stick of RAM out and then insinuating that it automatically equates to being a hardware issue, is ridiculous, my friend.Hardware is a component of the equation, but x= well now after no BSODs for a month (THANK YOU).... I don't know enough to know if the problem is vista related or something else. NN is the sequence the dump files were created in if multiple dumps were generated on the same day (the first crash dump on a given day will be numbered 01, The difference is that I have been able to manually shut my laptop off, and get it to reboot. This fixed my problems COMPLETELY. Any motherboard older than around 6 months might well have compatibility issues with vista.
