A great deal of value!The interface is effective from the simplest wizards and screens for the beginner to advanced screens with full option control for the expert.
I was told the E4BC0012 error can be caused by a corrupt Symantec catalog.dat file. If anyone has any suggestions for cleaning up this mess without doing that, please let me know! They answered four months later, but nothing got solved. One is even a WINXP PC so its a problem with the program.On top of that I tried installing the program using Norton security running the Virus protection also thinking Mcaffee
Even that didn’t work right! Makes you wonder if you really need Digital River. The first one I tried, Norton Save and Restore, from Symantec, was a disaster.The problems started with the product web page. Check This Out Restored perfectly.
You then type in DISKPERF -Y make sure you include a space before the hyphen. You have to continuously use the "kill all Symantec products" utility, thus murdering all you WinFax faxes. It turns out that S&R inserts a parameter into the Registry that corrupts the CD/DVD driver. Using Windows XP Home or Professional comments about using this program with Vista cannot be made.The hard drive on my notebook computer was recently replaced and Save and Restore preformed flawlessly.

This turns on Disk performance monitoring. Symantec should be ashamed.But the real fly in the Save and Restore ointment is that you can't create an image using the install/boot disc, only restore one.
