Thanks for the tip. We've talked about Safe Mode at WorldStart before, but just to reiterate, it's a mode of Windows that only loads the bare minimum of necessary system files. If there is any good news here it is that getting around these problems with System Restore is rather easy. Following, I offer 2 approaches that may help. Neither of these navigate here I know that Windows Defender is unable to comprehensively defend against threats but I thought I could rely on Restore to get me out of a pickle!.
I've never done an image back up. Either way, System Restore isn’t going to fix your problem. Always have backups, always save after every change, always use Dropbox (or something similar) to save previous... This is happening on my laptop, but it is also happening on my desktop.
