I know there are many comments, but it won't take you long to skim them. this morning i turned on my laptop (which has windows 7) and a few keys were not working. for exemple: z="urz" é="è'é"&" + open windows media center s="-(s²73″ + cap lock + reduce sound w="nbw " x=",vx" 2="27431″ and some other magic funny tricks I checked my setting which These tools are activated (toggled on and off) by keyboard stroke combinations (shortcuts). http://directorsubmit.com/not-working/usb-mouse-and-keyboard-not-working-xp.html

I have various problems when using my Microsoft keyboard. and also look in Device Manager for your keyboard's driver status.
It almost sounds like a ‘macro’ (or maybe a custom "theme") has been set. I've only had it for 5 days. There's also plenty of space for dirt. (i kinda doubt you got a completely sealed heavy duty laptop, and even those keyboards have wear after some time).Read the websites frisky and You may have to manually reassign the Media key to the media player you installed.
