This happens with some TVs, projectors and monitors with certain GPUs. Obviously, the latter is not a guaranteed workaround, as it depends how the display and GPU handshake on that output, too. Sorry, I haven't noticed you mentioned you're connected through display port. Lenovo = F1 Intel = F2 Bah! Unable To Enter Bios Setup I tried f2 f12 an delete. The only resolution supported by UEFI is 1280X1024. If that does not happen F2 is not the right key for your system (it depends on the maker and model of your computer).

Not to sure but I just simply plugged in my tv and It popped up. From there you can select which device to boot or to go into BIOS. Hope this helps someone else.. have a peek here I've also searched online for anyone else facing this problem, but what's strange is that no one seems to be getting to the same "black screen with unmovable cursor" when booting
These don't just have BIOS, they also have boot manager, RAID card, network boot stuff, etc...

Oh and the reason for blue screen was obviously a bad driver that installed when installing the OS on the Hard Drive in another Model of Toshiba it set up the http://directorsubmit.com/black-screen/pc-screen-goes-black-and-restarts.html With hard drive I was getting an A2 error.
